The group run by the Burrows Family can trace links back as far as 200 years within the Butchery Industry and currently incorporates four businesses. Each business is governed by strict quality and welfare controls and complies with all industry regulations and has the skill and experience to supply a quality service for all catering needs.
The head office is situated on the Norfolk/Suffolk border in the rich pastures of the Waveney Valley.
C & K Meats Ltd
An independent wholesale and catering butchers run by the Burrows family, C&K Meats has been in existence for the last 10 years starting with two brothers in a converted garage and an escort van. With progression to a New large purpose built butchery unit with a current staff level of 20, all dedicated to supplying exactly what you need cutting, preparing, packing and delivering anything from a pound of ham to a pallet of portion controlled steak to your door within 24 hours or less of placing your order. With the current staff having over 35 years butchery experience and 25 years of supplying to the retail and catering trade we are armed with a wealth of knowledge to enable us to meet and exceed our customer's requirements and supply the ultimate in quality products and customer service.
Quality and hygiene are the most important considerations at C&K and can be guaranteed with all meat preparation taking place in our own EC nationally licensed premises with all staff trained in food hygiene and regular visits by the Meat Hygiene Service to ensure that our operation continues to meet the high standards set by the European Union and the Food Safety Authority, the local environmental health and trading standards departments also visit regularly.
Our modern fleet of 8 refrigerated vehicles deliver throughout South Norfolk, Suffolk and North Essex.
With a range of businesses covering field to fork, we already supply superior quality meats to catering and retail outlets throughout East Anglia and now aim to do the same for the home.
JH Lamberts (Bungay) Ltd
The majority of our beef, pork and lamb is supplied by our independently run sister company. JHL has been established for some 40 years and incorporates a highly respected abattoir with full EC license and there is a vet in permanent attendance.
All the livestock purchases made by JH Lambert are from local farms in Norfolk and Suffolk including animals from our farm managed herds of pigs and cattle.
By adopting a local produce first attitude we are able to reduce the stress to our animals, make valuable environmental contribution to reducing food miles and support local farmers.
Any produce we cannot obtain locally we purchase from audited and approved sites throughout the UK and EU.

C & K Family Butchers
With a new addition of a Local Butchers shop in Diss a dream was realised. The shop opened 8th May, 2009 with an unusaul feature of a window looking straight into the fridge too look upon the Locally sourced produce. The shop is fully air conditioned with a large door to allow easy access for wheelchairs and pushchairs. We also provide parking at the rear of the shop. The aim of the shop is to provide local people with a top quality product which is sourced from within Norfolk & Suffolk at family friendly prices

JR Creasey is our high street retail outlet providing a wide variety of top quality, over the counter meats. Situated in the Turban Centre just off the high street in the picturesque Suffolk town of Woodbridge, JR Creasey adds to the 25 years of experience of the Burrows family to provide meat products in the area with the emphasis on customer care, satisfaction and the continuity of high class products.
